A slower paced & gentle practice of hatha yoga
Class Description
Join us on Friday 1st May for a gentle hatha yoga morning session. This will be an introductory session & if it goes well and we enjoy this there will be further classes and possibly every week. *All outdoor sessions are weather dependent and refunds will be given if we have to cancel, & a minimum attendance of 5 people is required to run the sessions* This session will be slow and with plenty of guidance on fundamental & foundational aspects of poses, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions too. The session will be a mix of exploring some of the key yoga poses known as 'asanas', yogic breathing techniques (pranayama), mudra (hand gestures), possibly learning a mantra (a tool used to focus the mind), & short meditation & relaxation for what is hopefully a lovely full rounded and grounded yoga practice. Yoga can help us build strength and resilience in our body and mind and can guide us in to leading a better quality of life. More whole, more content, & more being instead of doing. KEY BENEFITS OF YOGA: - improved posture - better breathing - improved energy levels - better sleep - cultivate a calmer clearer mind - work on core strength - great for building balance - better overall sense of wellbeing - stress relief - helps to manage burnout - boosts immunity that's just to list a few, really the benefits are endless & the best way to find out is to give it a go. & you don't need to be flexible! That's part of the point of doing yoga is to gain flexibility, & not just in body. You will need a yoga mat & if you have any yoga props like yoga bricks or blocks bring those along too, a blanket or cushion can be helpful for outdoor sessions too for extra comfort and warmth if needed. Please wear comfortable clothing and make sure you will be warm enough, layer up so that you can remove upper layers if needed, best to be warmer to start and with it being a slower and more grounded session we won't be building tonnes of heat in the body. Meet at Park Road South Entrance at the side of the park and we will practice under the trees nearby. Any questions please get in touch.

Cancellation Policy
6 week block bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. You may cancel your place but refunds will not be issued. Cancellations for drop-in sessions with minimum of 24 hours can be transferred to another class, if less than 24hrs notice is given then the class cannot be transferred
