STYLES/TYPES OF YOGA... what do you need? 

I offer a range of group yoga classes in Teesside, both indoors and outdoors in the warmer months of the year and 1:1 private sessions

Depending on what your needs are and what you are looking to gain from your yoga this would dictate which class you might get the most out of.  It's also good to get a range of practices, so if you're quite active naturally perhaps balancing that with some stillness in a Yin class as well as flowing with the breath in a more vinyasa style session.

You could also try a Gentle Yoga Class that is more hatha based.   

Classes are often to set to themes, following and honoring the different times of year and cycles of nature with a sprinkle of philosophy and sometimes deeper teachings on these areas. I love to move and dance, free-movement of the body and exploring the body for yourself is actively encouraged in my classes.  I am also very good at going off on a tangent, going with the flow, being creative and having some fun as we learn and grow.  

I aim to make classes accessible to all with lots of options along the way, we are not all one-shape, one-size and part of my teaching is adapting to suit the real bodies we are in.

& let's let go of this myth!.......You don't need to be flexible in body to practice yoga!

 

You just need a body, your body, & gaining flexibility is just one of the many great benefits of yoga.

The most important thing is taking care of yourself, learning to listen to your body, love your body & this is something yoga can bring & grow for us, self love and care.
